I’m Just Not 32 Anymore…

October 2012

So I was sure, just two days ago, that it was time to start winding the season down, to start taking my cycling indoors and so forth… Then I go out for a blustery ride (15 mph sustained, gusts over 25) that I should have hated and I wind up remembering why it is I fell in love with cycling in the first place. Go figure. I’ll still knock off the longer rides, but I’m not taking the riding inside quite yet.

Then, after taking part in a fundraiser for my daughter’s fundraiser at Cold Stone Creamery (oh my), I decided to take a nap before the Tiger’s game – when I was in my 30’s I could take a nap before a Red Wings west coast playoff game, wake up and actually watch the game, and then fall back to sleep… Yeah, that doesn’t work anymore. I fell asleep around 8, woke up three and a half hours later at the bottom of the eighth, watched an inning of ball, and now I’m up. Watching Conan. Oh no, tomorrow is going to be a long day. Actually it’s 1:30 am, today is going to be a long day.

Try menopause, adding in some soaking sweats and general confusion. I actually think men have womanapause and women have menopause. 😉
