We were suppose to go home yesterday from my parents house, but we are still here due to the 14″ of blowing snow down home (only about 8″ here)…there is a 2 hour delay this morning for us back home, but I told my principal yesterday that I wouldn’t be making it back in time to start school today. Better to play it safe than sorry…
Absolutely… We lucked out, they cancelled school yesterday around noon. First snow-day of the winter so we figure they had some to play with.

Cancelled school (but not until last night–way better than the 6am as usual). Went to the gym at 530am, but wow, wrecks and ice all over town! Working from home today!

We had the same weather on the other side of Lake Michigan. I spent four hours at church shoveling snow and keeping the sidewalks clear, plus digging cars out when people tried to leave. On the plus side, it was a fantastic workout and I actually feel better from the exercise!
