I made it, 105 miles of butt kicking hills. I fueled properly, hydrated like it was going out of style… and still cramped up like it was my first century. By far, the hardest century I’ve ever ridden – but it was fantadtic, and beautiful.
I’ll write it up tomorrow, because I’m hit.
Congratulations, well done!
Thanks Sheree, much appreciated.
Looks like a great ride. Did you log it on strava?
Nah, but the route is on Ride with GPS… it’s the one that heads north, not the south route – it shows 6,900 feet (and change) of climbing.
You should come down for Hotter’n Hell at the end of the month!
Wow, Texas in August? Yep, that’s hotter ‘n hell alright! Can’t do it on short notice. Michigan to Texas is too far to drive, and plane tickets and shipping the bike would cost an arm and a leg. I’ll kick it around for the future though, thank you.
