Oh, and this is what it looked like when I bought it:

Sadly, I was inside before I realized I was in the middle chain ring…  Don’t let the sunshine fool you, it was cold enough I didn’t care, I wasn’t going back outside.

Tire Stems should be at 6 o’clock…
    Cranks should never be level…

What am I ranting?! I never get right either, but hey it’s bike porn… Its purpose is to arouse. šŸ˜‰

    Nice job & nice bike.

Stems are at six (in all of the photos – except that last one where I didn’t know any of the rules when I took the photo, not that that is an excuse). The crank arms are up to interpretation of the rules – the idea is that the back arm, the left side arm, is hidden by the chain stay or the seat tube. As you can clearly see, the crank is just slightly off parallel so that, indeed, the back crank is hidden by the chain stay.

With the exception of the big ring, which I copped to already, my photos are pretty close.

I didn’t even know there were/are rules for photographing bikes. What a rebel! I’m torn on whether I like the red or black. Both are fantastic. What a joy it must be to ride no matter the color!

Thanks Dan… I know what you mean. The bike would have looked awesome, red but I REALLY wanted black so that’s how I went. Just one of those things.

Honestly, doesn’t really matter where any of that shit is, that is one smokin’ black bike!
