Heh… Just in Case You Fail to Grasp Why Trump is Popular…

Scott Baio put it pretty well, too: Republicans want you to live your life. Democrats want you to live theirs. Anyone who says different is obviously a sexist, racist, bigoted, homophobic, xenophobic, islamophobic hater of freedom, prosperity, happiness, sunshine, unicorns and rainbows. Oh, and all fun things too.

Power Line: The Week in Pictures: March Madness Edition.

  1. Scott Baio? Seriously? How about this. The people who for decades have prevented blacks and minorities from having basic civil rights, and who have threatened and spouted hate speech at homosexuals and women, and have promoted a culture where there are now more guns than people in the United States, and who have denied people unemployment insurance, and stolen funds from Social Security, who hate the Post Office just for delivering mail for chape, and who blame people for getting old and wanting to be insured….are all those voting for Trump. It’s a sad indication of the selfish, fearful notion that America is successful because everyone has a right to be a dick, and care not one fuck about their neighbors. Sunshine indeed. More like the heart of darkness.

Chris, the people responsible for all of those atrocities you listed all had a D after their name. Where have you been? It’s like you live in an alternate universe. People don’t hate the post office for delivering mail for cheap (I’m assuming that’s what you meant and I know how dangerous that is)… In fact, everything you listed is exactly the irony I was pointing to with what I wrote. You obviously missed it.

  2. That’s why Trump is popular. He embodies hate.

Oh goodness, that photo gave me a good laugh 😀
One of the problems I have with the Republican party is that yeah, their platform advocates a more limited government but in reality so many of them are sellouts that the “limiting government” thing goes out the window.
Both parties have forgotten the value of freedom and personal responsibility.
