I went for a 40 mile ride with four of my best friends on the planet yesterday.
It was sunny, warm, and fun… Cycling with my friends is just about as good as it gets.
I too loved the true friendship part of riding. Something to be said on friendships of that of a great passion shared!
likewise, my cycling buddy is an architect, and it is quite comical as he often suddenly stops the bike and climbs over hedges/fences to take pictures of houses. And to sometimes point out his own work.Actually i now have an idea of the houses he likes. And we normally finish with a bowl of soup and a pint of something too. And for those following my previous cycle trip on thursday i added on another 8 miles, so that was 40 on my own. Next time wanna get up to 50 on my own-but i lost my little speedo thing-not sure if i want another as i don’t care about the mileage, just getting out-and on thursday i met two German cyclists over here touring-had a great chat with them. What is it with cyclists just stopping and chatting about routes and hills?
Because we all feel blessed to be out there, brother. 😎
