We have cameras now, @$$holes.

47 seconds in.  I was third bike back.  The driver was looking right at us.  We had to take it from 23 mph down to about 5 mph so we didn’t hit the little Johnson.

Now here’s the fun part:  The license plate is a little obscured on the uploaded video.  It’s plain as day on the original.  I’m taking it to the police to file a complaint on Monday.

How I wish I could be there when that motorist gets a knock on his door.

From now on, whenever you buzz us or try to cut us off, or threaten us with your vehicle…. We have cameras now, there’s a good chance you will be caught in HD video and your highlight reel will make it to the police.

This has been a public service announcement.  Have a nice day.

sad to see this. However I’m happy to know that the Police responds to such requests, in a first world nation. I face similar conditions music almost everyday while pedalling to work and back home. But yes, please go ahead and raise the complaint. I’m sharing this post on my Facebook page as well, to raise awareness.

Hope it makes a difference in the policing end. Not sure, in Iowa at least, if they actually follow through.

  4. Is that the same truck that passed you at the beginning of the video?

    That guy shaves his privates.

Pretty sad state of affairs.. i now that in the UK the roads have become more aggressive.. i wonder if this person would do that to you in the street?

Phew. Glad no one was hurt. I was glad to see the berth that the first truck gave you. Maybe I will have to mount my GoPro too. Sigh.
